Chair Nichols and CARB:

Please accept the following as an update sent this morning by email
in support of zero emission buses. A copy of our prior letter is
attached for reference.

Update message:
Chair Nichols and CARB:

On behalf of the City of Del Mar we submitted a letter to CARB in
support of zero emission buses (copy attached). Our support
remains, but we would like to update that letter of support with
recognition for the budgetary realities of pursuing this worthwhile
goal and asking that CARB take these constraints into account.
Focusing on encouragement and guidance rather than regulations that
cannot be attained due to budgetary constraints is, we believe, a
better way  to go.
