Getting people out of carbon emitting personal cars and onto public
transit is only half the battle for transit agencies when it comes
to reducing and then eliminating carbon emissions from the
transportation sector. The second part of the battle is developing
and putting into use public transit vehicles and systems which
produce zero carbon dioxide emissions. The technology is available
now, and so are the benefits to California of cleaner air and
healthier Californians.  Please vote for replacing current gasoline
and diesel transit vehicles with new electric vehicles which do not
contribute to global climate change.
