| Subject | Please adopt the clean energy transit rule |
| Comment | As a retired public transit operator, I strongly support the Clean Energy Transit Rule unveiled on August 7. I urge the board to support and adopt that rule before the end of this year. It was embarrassing to drive smoky and smelly buses as trees died from air pollution on the edge of the freeways. What do we want most for our children, ourselves, and the world? How about a clean and healthy environment with clean air, water, and healthy food? What can we do today for the selves we'll be tomorrow? |
