Dear Air Resources Board member,

Please adopt ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets for SB
375. One of the best ways to ensure communities grow in a
sustainable way is to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction goals
at the regional level. I recognize that it may take a little time
for the reductions to take effect, but the benefits will be
invaluable to my community for generations to come.

I've taken my first steps by purchasing and exclusively driving an
all-electric vehicle (Toyota Rav4-EV) since 2002. In 2008, I
installed a 4.8kW solar system on the roof-top of my house to
supply 95% of my electrical household and driving needs.

I know that not all Californians have the opportunity or finances
to take the steps that I have taken. By adopting strong greenhouse
gas reductions, all products for housing and transportation will
move more quickly to become more sustainable. Without a strong
statement about greenhouse gas reductions, we may lose out on an
opportunity to move in this important direction. We all know that
California had often lead the nation in environmental regulations.


We need you, the California Air Resources Board, to stay strong
and adopt ambitious targets so that the important work can
continue. We can't stop now, we must set the example for industry
and the nation. With strong regulations in place and a 
commitment to stick to such regulations, it will also allow the
private sector to step up and develop technologies and bring
products to market.
