I oppose all plans for tropical forest offsets.  The validity of
such "offsets" is questionable at best.  They fail to meet CARB's
standards that offsets must be real, quantifiable, and enforceable.
 And with Brazil about to elect a right wing anti-environmentalist,
Amazon rain forest offsets will be just a sham, little different
from such offsets in other countries.
