Subject | Tire pressure rules; yet another burden |
Comment | In case you haven't notices, small businesses are already staggering and failing in California for reasons of economic stress and excess government regulation. Adding another such load to the auto repair industry is hardly appropriate under conditions. While checking tire pressures is something routinely and commonly done anyway, adding another documentation load plus adding liability to the service provider is a really bad idea. In litigation-happy California, this is a new law that will be endorsed by lawyers as a new potential revenue stream, but will do little to nothing for climate change. Those motorist driving with low tires are no doubt those who avoid service anyway so adding this burden to repair shops will have no impact on those vehicles, while adding yet another burden to service facilities. Give us a break, would you please! |
