Please strengthen the Zero Emissions Vehicle program.  California
must once again show its leadership in the fight against global
warming.  It's time to say NO to Big Oil and the automotive lobby,
and to do the right thing!  Let's admit that we DO have the
technology to produce clean-running vehicles.  (Just ask the
Governor about his new Tesla -- wish I could afford one of
those!)

I drive a 1996 VW, and it's getting pretty tired.  But, I refuse
to buy another car until I can buy electric.  Please don't let me
down; tell those automakers to get the ZEVs into their showrooms
NOW -- and, thanks.
