Electric cars and plug-in hybrids coupled with proven renewable
energy like PV, concentrated Solar, Wind and Hydro are our best
bet to slow global warming and achieve energy independence.

All of this could be greatly enhanced at no extra cost to
taxpayers simply by switching subsidies from Gas/Oil/Coal to
renewables.  It could be achieved even more rapidly by investing a
small fraction of our state and federal budgets while creating
thousands of good american jobs.

Please do what you can to support Plug-in vehicles of all kinds. 
American Auto makers will not change without government
intervention.

Thank you for all your work to preserve and improve California's
most precious resource -- our air.
