| Comment | I am disappointed to hear that the CARB is poised to make changes to the ZEV Mandate, outlined in an extremely faulty Initial Statement of Reasons dated Feb 8, 2008. It is downright bizarre that the ISOR states that "staff doesn’t anticipate that manufacturers will produce any battery EV prior to 2012" when in fact battery EVs are on the road today, ranging from commuter cars like the Tango and Sparrow, to the Tesla Roadster. I hope to see the ISOR's recommendations rejected. Please help support manufacturers that are actually commercializing zero-emissions technologies for transportation, and put pressure on the laggards in Detroit. |
