| Comment | I was a big supporter of the Zero Emission Vehicles that were available in the late '90s and early 2000's. They were safe, dependable, fun to drive, and produced zero emissions! Where are they today? What happened to them? The answer is changes to the CA Zero Emission Vehicle Regulation. The technology exists; actually it is old now, and there is no reason why electric vehicles should not be available for purchase or lease TODAY. Do not put off the only alternative fuel technology that has actually been proven. No more pork barrel "ethanol" scams. We need to take seriously the effect of burning fossil fuels on our health, communities, national security, and planet. Please do not extend or alter the requirements for Zero Emission Vehicles. We need these vehicles on the road, the time is NOW! Thank you. |
