| Comment | I strongly support an agenda to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 25% or more by 2020. And the most promising way to reach this goal is to give consumers the choice to buy Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs). I urge you to require the full 25,000 ZEVs that automakers promised for 2012-2014. Further, I urge you to create a separate requirement for plug-in hybrids that lets them replace the dirtiest vehicles in CARB's regulations. More electric vehicles on our roads will reduce America's dependence on foreign oil, improve our county's security outlook, and promote the health of the planet. |
