One of the most promising ways to reach your goal is to give
consumers the choice to buy Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs), like
your electric Tesla Roadster. 

I have owned a privately converted electric car in the early 90s
and am preparing to install the far more efficient batteries
available now.

Plugging in at night when demand for electricity is low, these
cars do a tremendous service toward clean air and less climate
change. And some of us are eager to go even the greater distance
by using solar power to charge them.

Please require the full 25,000 ZEVs that automakers had promised
for 2012-2014 and create a separate requirement for plug-in
hybrids that lets them replace the dirtiest vehicles in CARB's
regulations, rather than the cleanest ZEVs.

Non-plug-in hybrids aren't good enough.
