With as profitable and powerful as the oil and auto industries are,
the only way to move into a cleaner future for our children and
grandchildren is through strong legislature!  

We must force the auto industry to sell more electric cars.  They
will thank us later, once they realize that they must take a small
step back in order to leap forward.  

For now, though, they cannot see past their quarterly statements. 
 But you must!  Our children and grandchildren depend on your
foresight and honesty.

Please do the right thing for the future of humanity.
