Dear Sir/Madam,

Is America going to continue to be held hostage by its addiction
to oil?  We have an opportunity with California leading the way to
make auto manufacturers produce electric vehicles and produce them
now.  The technology is there and since most Americans drive less
than 100 miles round-trip daily, there is not one reason we cannot
produce an all-electric vehicle.  Even GM has noticed Tesla and
according to their chairman, is one of the primary reasons for
producing the Volt.

Let's leave CARB as is and not push back or reduce any electric
vehicle mandates.
