| Comment | Please don't let the auto manufacturers bully you into dropping requirements for zero emission vehicles. I have been driving a Chevy S-10 that I converted to electric and a Toyota Echo also converted to pure electric for nine years now. Other people without my expertise in mechanics and electric drives who desperately want to drive electric are stymied as they just can't buy one. Your original mandate that resultled in the GM, Toyolta, and Ford electric cars was a magnificent move and am only sorry you had to back down on this. Please, for the sake of the envireonment and independence from foreign oil, hold the line |
