Dear Sir or Madame - 

CARB staff need to ensure that battery electric technology has the
strongest requirements behind it to make auto manufacturers produce
as many electric vehicles as possible.  It is the only viable, near
term technology to address global warming and meet standards in AB
32.  So many electric vehicles are on the road today serving their
drivers well.  Please make sure plug in hybrids with significant
zero emissions range are treated equitably as well and in a
catagory to replace the dirtiest cars rather than compete with
100% battery electrics.
