Dear Board Members of CARB,

I am extremely concerned that you will lessen the required number
of ZEV cars required by 2012.  The amendments that have been
proposed will allow that to happen.  

We are at a crucial time in beginning to deal with global warming.
 If we do not make dramatic changes the temperature escalation
could become irreversible.  That would cost far more to our
country and the world than switching to zero emission cars.  

Please do not allow a delay in our switch to alternative cars,
which pollute far less than gas powered cars.  Keep the 2012
requirement in place, and do not allow it to be weakened.  We will
all be sorry if you do, and I am hoping that the lobbying of the
automobile industry does not convince you that alternative cars
are not necessary.
