You proposed changes are nothing but a sell-out to big auto and big
oil. The decisions made in California will have broad impacts
around the globe for other jurisdictions (like mine) that make
efforts to follow your lead. You have a home-grown business in
your state that has just begun production of an incredible and
viable electric car. I am anxiously awaiting their next model so
that I can afford to replace my gasoline car. You should be doing
everything in your power to help out the new industries that are
making a difference and inventing new technology, not tilting the
playing field now that they have accomplished what your staff
report says can't be done.

People around the world will be watching your decision. You have
an opportunity to be serious about climate change and kick those
big manufacturers (and their dealers) into action. Increase the
pressure and don't give them any more hope for a change or delay.
