| Comment | California had passed a landmark ZEV program that has the potential to be a critical part of the global warming solution. It is time to demand production of the very acceptable BEVs that were produced in 2002. If CA had just produced the 2002 RAV4-EV, we would not be forced to pay $100+ per barrel oil. At the same time we would be well along on a solution toward meeting our CA state GHG emission targets. I need you to be part of the solution and require the immediate production of battery electric vehicles--that the California Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) program currently requires. Please close the loopholes that reduce the effect of the program. |
