Please do not weaken the ZEV regulations further.  If you have not
seen the movie Who Killed The Electric Car you may not fully
understand what is going on behind the scenes.  If you have, you
will hopefully vote to maintain and strengthen the ZEV mandate. 

This is America, we can focus on energy independence engineering. 
Or we can put our heads in the sand and let the rest of the world
pass us.

I strongly support an agenda to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions 25% or more by 2020. One of the most promising ways to
reach this goal is to give consumers the option to buy
Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs).

I urge you to require the full 25,000 ZEVs that automakers
promised for 2012-2014. Further, I urge you to create a
separate requirement for plug-in hybrids that lets them
replace the dirtiest vehicles in CARB's regulations.

More electric vehicles on our roads will reduce America's
dependence on foreign oil, improve our county's security
outlook, and promote the health of the planet.
