Dear Distinguished Members of the California Air Resources Board,
As a concerned citizen, I am asking you to hold the automakers to
their word... requiring them to produce 25,000 ZEVs by 2012 -
2014.  ZEVs benefit EVERYONE.  As our Nation's leaders urge us to
"kick our addiction to oil", we all must make the necessary
sacrifices to ensure that our World and AIR is safer and cleaner
for our children and future generations.  I'm proud to be a
Californian, primarily becuase we have traditionally led the
charge (no pun intended) as it relates to important environmental
issues.  ZEVs would be a fantastic, meaningful step toward
SIGNIFICANTLY reducing our dependence on foreign oil.  The oil
companies & automobile manufactures have had a good run... to the
detriment of our planet.  It's time we give a more reasonable
solution a chance.
