I ask the California Air Resources Board not to weaken the current
Zero Emission Vehicle regulations. Zero emission vehicles not only
reduce air pollution, but help in the fight against global warming.
Now is the time to strengthen these requirements.

As a California citizen, I am concerned about pollution as well as
the price of gasoline. I would like the option of choosing a zero
emission vehicle. This is unlikely if automakers are only required
to make 150 ZEV vehicles per year.

In the meantime, I am happy with the staff's proposal to increase
the number of plug-in hybrids that must be produced and appreciate
staff's vision in including these cars.
