The acknowledgement of global warming, and the impact it is having,
which is increasing, has finally reached the critical level.  Most
people understand that it is happening and the causes.  You have
that behind you and the future of the world before you.  Help
protect our state and our world from the catastrophic consquences
of not providing strong leadership and guidance to auto
manufacturers.  Californians drive millions of cars, millions and
millions of miles.  We have a responsibility which must not be
shirked.  I am ready, willing and able to purchase a plug-in
hybred vehicle, if one was available.  I will stand by my
convictions and duty as a human being and consumer.  Will you?
