I have two hybrid vehicles and would invest in an all electric
vehicle if it were economically viable. My home has a 3.2 kw grid
tied pv array and I plan to expand it in the near future in order
to charge my hybrids if/when I can upgrade them to plug in
hybrids.  Decisions you make today will effect the economic
viablility of this dream.  Do the right thing for CA's air and the
planet's over-stressed ability to handle our CO2 emmissions.  Do
not repeat the mistake that was so well documented in the film
"Who Killed the Electric Car". Your mandate is to protect our air
resource. Your decisions today may help save the domestic auto
industry that seems stuck in the last century.
  My grid tie system hooked up to a large battery in the car can
even work in reverse to offset peak demand (V2G) and further
reduce Greenhouse gas emmissions because a natural gas plant will
not have to work as hard. Please make the right choice today.  The
facts are overwhelming and I am ready to act.  
Thank you for protecting the air of CA and the planet by
strengthening zero emmission rules and supporting plug in hybrid
production.
