Please provide for continuation of the current requirement for the
production of no-emission vehicles. I am working to ensure my next
vehicle is such a car.  Please do not lower or eliminate this
requirement.  I do not seek an NEV type vehicle but a
full-performance freeway capable one.   New battery technology is
soon to arrive to make this more practical.  We must get away from
fossil fuel powered cars.  I have already installed the solar
panels to power my new vehicle.  Please do not undercut the
requirement or the incentive for manufacturers to produce them, as
occurred when thie previous requirement was weakened.  I have
driven a hybrid vehicle which I really like since 2003, but it
still requires the use of a toxic fuel source which requires
sending vast amounts of US wealth overseas.  Please do the right
thing and don't be dissuaded from that by corporate opponents of
