The word is that CARB is proposing requirements for ZEVs that will
fall below production that is already planned by Tesla and GM
alone.  CARB is a leader not a follower!  Set standards that will
prod the car companies to produce something worthwhile.  They will
do as little as they can get away with unless you push them. 
Electric vehicles are feasible.  Please do not backdown on plug-in
hybrids and electric cars and please re-consider your love of
hydrogen fuel cells:  remember that an electric car can always get
its power source from a fuel cell once that technology is cost
effective/feasible.
