Dear California Air Resources Board:
                                                                  
                                       Please do NOT weaken the
Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulations.  As you well know, ZEVs
are all-electric cars with zero emissions. 
  
The threat of global warming is worsening.  Should California
retreat on ZEV's after leading the nation in their promotion is
outrageous and unconscionable.  Climate change is a cataclysmic
problem that we've caused by our societal habits, so that if we
want to be able to look ourselves in the mirror and/or face future
generations with a clear conscience, we've got to do all we can to
combat it.  ZEV's  improve air quality and reduce CO2 in our
atmosphere.  Therefore, regulations supporting ZEV' have got to be
strongly supported and not weakened by us.

I want to buy a ZEV to replace my internal combustion engine car,
and I am certain that I am not alone!  I no longer want to
contribute to all of the pollution problems (from oil spills to
air pollution.) that are tied to driving such a vehicle.  
The sooner we make ZEV's more widely available to consumers, the
sooner we can slow down the factors that contribute to global
warming, for the good of the earth and it's future, for us and
generations to come.
