| Comment | With the US EPA blocking California's efforts to control CO2 emissions in vehicles, ZEV requirements are our strongest option. We saw progress on electric vehicles boom under the original requirements and then drop off dramatically when requirements were weakened previously. In the meantime we see customers struggling to find electric vehicles and sales of hybrids booming as an alternative, but with unmet demand for plug in versions. I support requirements for plug in vehicles in addition to other ZEVs, but there is no substitute for electric vehicles, especially in urban areas. Sincerely Kenneth White |
