Dear Ms. Nichols -

I am a native Californian and, although I have recently moved out
of state, I continue to look to California as a model of
progressive thinking and pragmatic action.  I urge you to keep the
ZEV program as strong as it was originally intended to be and not
allow big auto companies kill the electric car - again!
The twin issues of global warming and our dangerous dependence on
foreign oil - or domestic oil, for that matter - can be addressed
by production and sale of zero emission electric vehicles.

I am proud of my home state and my country  If CARB does the right
thing after tomorrow's hearings, I can continue to feel that way.
