California should lead the way (as it almost always has) in new,
cleaner technology. I urge the California Air Resources Board not
to weaken the ZEV regulations. Automakers need the extra incentive
to produce zero emission vehicles.

We need to be doing everything in our power to address the
problems of pollution and climate change. Since automobiles are a
major contributor in these areas, it is imperative that we make
them cleaner and more efficient.
