The proposed amendments, essentially gutting the program no matter
how it's spun, are completely at odds with the true current state
of technology as well as sending the wrong signals to companies
that have been working hard to bring forward-looking technology to
market.  They make ARB look like solely a tool of the mainstream
auto industry, which is trying to wring as many sales as possible
out of its earth-destroying dinosaurs.  Is this what you want your
policy to be?  I don't think so!  You have been doing great work in
other respects, and this is truely dismaying.  We need to work with
a mix of ALL non-fossil-fuel possibilities.
