I am writing to request that you make some courageous decisions in
the coming weeks and do what is right for California, for the
environment, and for our soldiers because the three are
inextricably linked in my mind.  I love this state.  I love living
in the most progressive state in the union.  I proudly purchased my
Prius here and am committed to purchasing only more efficient
vehicles in the future.  I am waiting for either the Tesla wagon
or a plug-in hybrid to buy as my next car.  Please take the stand
to make that happen.  Be the global leader we need for you to be. 
People will be clamoring for these more efficient cars now that
gasoline is $4.00/gallon in our state.  Your actions will help
Detroit do the right thing.
