Of course change is difficult but if we north americans don't get
on with electric cars, our auto industry's decline will accelerate
as it ignores the importance of getting off oil.  This has happened
over the years as Europeans and Asians are ahead of us in heeding
the certainty of economics while we have pandered to the oil and
auto manufacturers who have led us down the bigger-is-better
path.
For the survival of the planet and the people  givre us the
leadership we need.  GM et al can do it but won't unless it is
legislated and to their long term peril.
New and better jobs will be developed but industry needs to be
pushed harder,  Please!
