California has a history of being in the position of setting policy
trends for the rest of the country.  With $4 per gallon gasoline
prices and no viable new oil resources in sight, it is now more
vital than ever that California set the pace of alternatively
fueled vehicle development.

For far too long, the big automakers have had a stranglehold on
California consumers and the CARB board.  Enough is enough. 
California and the public at large need alternative vehicle
choices in order to continue to be economically viable into the
next decade.  If California doesn't take the lead, someone else
will and it will be our shameful loss if we once again let the big
automakes water down alternative vehicle mandates to the point at
which they are meaningless.

Please keep the ZEV limits in place.
