I urge CARB to maintain its existing mandate of requiring auto
manufacturers to supply ZEVs in California.  Please DO NOT reduce
your prior requirements.  Do not allow the manufacturers to weasel
out of their prior commitments.  The technology for ZEVs, in the
form of battery electric vehicles, is available here and now.  All
you need to do is demand that the vehicles be delivered to the
California consumers who have been begging for them for years.

Hydrogen Fuel Cells are a myth.  They will never become a
commercial reality.  The promise of FCVs far in the elusive future
is an unacceptable substitute for solutions that are available here
and now.

The most practical solution to our air quality and global warming
issues are Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles.  CARB should add such vehicles
to its mandate, without reducing the requirement for ZEV vehicles.
