Please do not sacrifice the health,and financial well being of our
population that a higher amount of electric vehicles on our roads
can provide. Please don't give in to the special interests groups
claims. We all know that they produced a limited number of cars a
decade ago with decade old technology. With the innovations in
battery design, now is the time to make them tow the line.

Incidentally, did you know that GM transformed from an auto
manufacture to war materials in 1941 in only 1 year? I can't
understand claims that GM execs. make that "it takes years to
retool".  That's what I heard from GM in regards to the Chery
Volt.

Please do the right thing now, we don't have the luxury of time.
