Dear Board Members,

I urge you to not reduce the compliance standards by the major
automakers again at your upcoming meeting. We need you to stick to
or require improvements to their offerings of low emission vehicles
for our market. It is clear that these vehicles are can be made
based on past EV vehicle programs, current hybrid technology that
can be applied to new ZEV's and the number of new electric
vehicles that are being produced by start up manufacturers. 

The geo-political, and environmental state of the world requires
that California once again take a leadership role in bringing the
required change to the automobile market. 

Regarding solutions hydrogen is not a realistic option. Let's
support progressive technologies that are here today - plug-in
hybrids powered by microgeneration from renewables.
