| Comment | Although the electric motor and its affiliated battery technology are not advanced enough to take over from the internal combustion engine, they must be a part of the solution to dirty air and dwindling fossil fuels. Please reinstate battery electric vehicle technology as part of CARB's recommendation for improving the air we Californians breathe. The real-life experience of expanding the use of the Tesla roadster, the GEM car, and other vehicles will lead to vehicles that hold a charge longer, longer battery ranges, and cleaner air. |
