| Comment | There really is no reason to reduce the number of ZEV that atuomakers should be requred to produce by 2014. The old excuse was that there simply wasn't enough interest in PHEV or ZEV. But here I am, in Kentucky, writing you, in California, pleading for you the lead the way in finally promoting the kind of car that consumers like me are desparate for, the kind of car the world is desparate for. Gas will be $4.00 a gallon here by this summer. Now, which car do you think I would buy given the choice: another gas-dependant car, or an EV that never needs gas, that I could actually run from power from solar panels? America wants EVs and ZEVs and PHEVs. Now, please. Don't kill it again.... |
