It is imperative that we increase, not decrease, our speed of
movement to alternative cars.  With global warming, major risk of
losing middle eastern oil, and the resistance of the special
interest groups, we have got to be firm in fulfilling the ZEV
mandate as proposed originally, not a watered down version.  I
urge CARB to stand firm in this regard.
