Global warming is already beginning to have devastating effects on
the environment. Please do not let automakers put profits before
protection of our air. 

I'm urging you to vote to keep the Zero-Emission Vehicles program
as it stands, so that automakers will be required soon to give
consumers the choice of purchasing zero-emission vehicles. I want
to buy one! And I know many others will too. And the earth can't
wait another fifty years for us to start taking care of it.

Don't let the auto industry dictate your vote. I urge you to
invest in the future of our environment--for my sake, for your
sake, for our children's and grandchildren's sake.
