| Comment | To Whom It May Concern: I wish to express my support for plug in electric vehicles. These zero-emission vehicles, when coupled with innovative battery technology, provide a clean and cost-effective alternative to gasoline engines. Although I live in NY State, I recognize that decreasing California's dependance on oil/gasoline will have dramatic positive impacts on the US economy, national security, foreign policy, and global environmental pollution levels, especially when other states begin to follow suit. Please be firm about requiring timely, challenging, progressive standards by requiring electric vehicles be made available in as large a quantity and as timely a manner as reasonably possible.
