Please bring back the ZEV to its original intent and numbers.

Hybrids are good, but they still pollute & are very complicated.

Give Californians the option to drive completely pollution free.

Remember, the auto industry never would have added seat belts if
it had not been for concerned citizens.

Battery & capacitor technology are fast approaching the range
capabilities of the ICE based automobile.

If you were starting out with both technologies, which is simpler
& which offers more for the future.  Just think how incredibly
complicated the ICE is.

We lost valuable time when the ZEV initiative was weakened in
2003.

There are many, many of us who are willing to pay more in order to
bring back the fully electric vehicle.

I wanted to buy the EV1 in 2000, but was lied to by the dealers
selling them.  They said they were not building them anymore. 
There were thousands more like me.

There is absolutely no reason the car companies could not make a
fully electric vehicle in the quantities that were built into the
original California ZEV plan.  The people are out there ready to
buy.

This time around, I believe the car manufacturers will "see the
light".
