Please do not reduce the ZEV requirement! We need to have reliable
electric vehicles as a real choice for consumers. I know I want to
buy one. I think most families with two or more cars could have one
of those be a pure electric vehicle, since they're perfect for most
daily commutes. But if there is no requirement to produce them,
they'll stay as they are today, either marginal (neighborhood
electric vehicles) or expensive (Tesla), which won't solve the
problem.
