The initial decision to give up on the ZEV program was contrary to
the best interests of Californians and the duty of the ARB.  As
representatives of the citizens of California, you are expected to
look out for the best interests of the citizens.  This was not done
when the ZEV regulation was dropped and GM and others were allowed
to shred and crush their EVs which were undoubtedly in demand. 
Please act on the behalf of those you represent when you decide on
the amendments to the ZEV program this year.  I urge you to stand
up to the special interests and stand for those you represent.
Please put the past mistakes in the past and think of the future
of the State.  Please excuse the crudeness of my subject but I
hope it got your attention.
