America used to be one of, if not the greatest country in the
world. We have been sliding backwards for many years now. One
major reason is because our businesses produce what they want the
public to buy, not what the public wants. The California Air
Resource Board has an opportunity to improve the quality of our
nations polluted air and provide an incentive to our auto
producers to produce what the public wants. The public wants
plug-in hybrids with a range of at least 50 mile per charge, the
public wants cleaner air, the public wants no dependance on
foreign oil, the public want no soldier to die for oil in Iraq or
anywhere else, and the public wants good high paying manufacturing
jobs like we used to have. Do the right thing by requiring more
zero emission cars from auto manufacturers and perhaps America can
begin winning back market share in the auto manufacturing sector.
Are you going to help American get better or are you going to
continue supporting our slide? As for me, I support those who are
working to make American better.
