It makes absolutely NO SENSE to cut the allowable production of
EVs.  More, not less electric cars, similar to Governor
Schwarzenegger's electric Tesla, are required immediately at this
point in the state of California's effort to cut greenhouse
gases.
Motor vehicles contribute the most to greenhouse gases, and the
price of gas is skyrocketing.
Investment in green technology conversion such as the
infrastructure involved in accommodating electric cars: provision
of renewable sources of electricity (so that coal is not
substituted for oil in the origin of the energy), conversion
technology to switch vehicles from old to new energy, and building
adaptors in homes and public places to "gas up" with gas-less
power, are a few ways the ailing economy of the state and the
entire nation could be turned around now around the already proven
electric vehicle industry.
CARB is supposed to rule with the best interests of the public and
the environment in mind, not the preferences of industry.  Please
live up to this purpose.  SAVE the ELECTRIC CAR!
