Please push for more electric car production.  The federal
government appears to be unable or unwilling to deal effectively
with this issue, so it is up to the states to do so.  The
technology is available, and we have waited way too long already
to move in this direction.  It is necessary for the health of our
economy, our environment, and our national security to reduce our
oil consumption.  This is our future, so let's embrace it as
widely and as soon as possible.
