Dear CARB,

Now is our chance to redeem ourselves for past failings of the
board. As a fellow Californian, I share your pride in the fact
that our great state is at the forefront of technological
innovation and environmental responsibility.

Although my opinion is that the amendments under consideration are
far too little compared to what we are capable of, please require
the full 25,000 ZEVs that automakers had promised for 2012-2014,
and create a separate requirement for plug-in hybrids that lets
them replace the dirtiest vehicles in CARB's regulations, rather
than the cleanest ZEVs.

Choice for consumers means cleaner air for everyone. Do the right
thing this time. Thanks.
