Robert, We appreciate the opportunity to comment on CARBs draft LCFS. We appreciate your hard work in crafting standards that will be at once ecologically, socially and economically responsible and balanced. Attached is a letter voicing support and comments from a number of groups from both California and around the West that work on sustainable forest management, woody biomass utilization, rural economic development, and appropriately scaled bioenergy development. We appreciate your consideration of our comments, and hope that you will use us as a resource in the future in CARBs work to develop standards and rules for sustainable bioenergy development in CA.
